We have been Hong Kong International Film Festival Society(HKIFFS)’s digital marketing partner since 2008. HKIFFS is a non-profit making organization which hosts three flagship film events in Hong Kong. In order to promote its events and release its news effectively, multiple marketing channels were used, which included official website, Facebook, Twitter and mobile applications. By combining these online channels and customizing a payment gateway that integrated with the Cityline online ticketing system, we provided a comprehensive solution allowing audiences to extend the movie experience to the digital world. Audiences could view and book the movie sessions online, and share their movie selections or comments with their friends on social media. Such e-Word-of-Mouth marketing successfully created overwhelming responses from audiences.
